Indie Game: The Movie

If you happen to be a child of the late ’70s or the ’80s, then it’s likely that you’ve had some experience with—or if you’re like me, grew up on—Nintendo or other video games. Whether you enjoy a nostalgic moment, like a good documentary, or want to see some truly fascinating characters, you’ve got to see this documentary.

It’s inspiring, it’s encouraging, and it’s enlightening. The style of the movie is impeccable and the editing is superb. You’d never guess that a collection of introverted, secluded gamemakers could be so poetically eloquent when describing their motivations and feelings.

You can rent it on iTunes or via AppleTV for a few bucks, or snag it through the movie’s website. I’m sure it’ll pop up on Netflix very soon.

Just trust me, you’ll love it.
